Notarized documents: Types of Notarized Documents: Power of Attorney Education Documents (diplomas, transcripts) Will and Trust Affidavits To receive and Apostille/ Certificate, the Texas Secretary of State requires a: Signature: needs to be signed in the presence of the notary public. (If the notary is making a certified copy then Custodian's signtuare is not required. Certified copies made by a notary are limited. If you are unsure please send us your document for review.) Notarial acknowledgement (statement), jurat, or other notarial certificate: Completed by the notary public. Date: the individual who signed the document appeared before him/her. (Make sure the notary dates the document) Notary public’s seal of office (stamp): Affixed to the document Notary public’s signature 3. Public Corporate Documents: These are issued by the Corporations Sections of the TX Secretary of State. We will need to know the Entity Name and File # to complete your request. We submit the documents to the appropriate issuing authority for apostille/authentication. Documents that qualify for Texas Apostille are processed in 1-2 Days. Documents that require authentication by other states, at the federal level, or foreign Embassies may have varying processing times depending on the specific case.
