How Long Does It Take?

The processing time for a visa can vary significantly depending on the type of visa and the country you are applying to. Some countries may offer expedited processing, which can take a few days, while regular processing may take several weeks.

These service fees are separate from government fees and are charged for the convenience of faster processing, expert guidance, and assistance with paperwork.

Tourist: 30 day double entry, and 1 year or 5 year multiple entry 

Casual Business: 1 year multiple entry

E-Visa FAQs

  • Applicants of the eligible countries/territories may apply online minimum 4 days in advance of the date of arrival with a window of 120 days. Example: If you are applying on 1st Sept then applicant can select arrival date from 5th Sept to 2nd Jan

  • E-tourist visa: Multiple entry. For USA , UK, Canada and Japan continuous stay during each visit shall not exceed 180 days.

  • E-business visa: Multiple entry. Continuous stay during each visit shall not exceed 180 days.
    If the intention is to stay for more than 180 days, shall get registered with FRRO/FRO concerned within two weeks after the expiry of 180 days.

  • E-conference: Single entry. Thirty days (30 days) from the date of arrival into India.

  • Travelers must enter at one of the following airports: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh,Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Varanasi & Vishakhapatnam, or seaports: Cochin, Goa, Mangalore, Mumbai, Chennai.
    * Travelers can exit from any of the authorized Immigration Check Posts (ICPs) in India.
