New Passport - Mail In Documents

If you live outside of the Austin area or unable to come to our office in person, please check these information below:

Required Documents

  • Do you witness signatures on applications?
    Austin Passport Express is an authorized expeditor and is not an Acceptance Agency, therefore, we cannot witness signatures on applications, but you can locate one using this link.
  • Do you assist people without urgent travel?

Additional Information:

Adults 18 years and older:

  • Can sign application without parent or guardian present.

Children 16-17 years of age:

  • Application will be processed as an adult passport.

  • At least one parent is required to accompany the minor to co-sign the application at the post office or the courthouse.

STEP 1:

Contact us for availability and pricing at 512-479-0805 or by email at info@AustinPassport.com before proceeding to a Passport Acceptance Agent.

• Take items 1-7 to a Passport Acceptance Agency in your area.
•  Inform the Passport Agent that you require expedited processing, and your application is being hand-delivered to the passport office, and request that the sealed envelope containing your documents be returned to you

Print the following on the outside of the sealed envelope:
a) Full name
b) Date of birth
c) Departure date
d) Contact Tel. No.

STEP 2:

Mail the sealed envelop from the Passport Acceptance Agent and items 1-7 via an overnight courier service to the following address:

  • Call us or email us with your tracking number so we can monitor your package.

  • Your passport application will be hand carried to the passport office.

  • When the passport is ready, it will be sent to the address on the address on the “Return Shipping” form.

  • Please note a street address (not PO Box) and a phone number where you can be reached must be included.

*PLEASE NOTE: According to State Department regulations, the DS-11 application must be submitted within 4-5 days of the date on the form. We require the package to arrive the day after your envelope is sealed by the Passport Acceptance Agent. Please use an overnight service.

* It is expressly understood that Austin Passport Express does not issue passports or visas, therefore can not guarantee applications will be approved or processed within a specific time. Austin Passport Express accepts no responsibility for errors, omissions, loss of documents or delays caused by local Passport Acceptance Agents, the Passport Agency, Embassies, & Consulates.  Passport Express is also not responsible for delays caused by improper documentation (ie. birth certificate, identification), child support issues, weather problems, or overnight courier services utilized to transport your documents to and from the appropriate agencies.
